What RecallHound cannot tell you.

A recall check is one piece of a safe purchase. Here is where it stops.

  • Whether an item is safe“No known recall found” means exactly that. Products can be dangerous without ever being recalled.
  • Accident or title historyVehicle checks cover recalls, complaints, and ratings. They do not cover crashes, flood damage, liens, or theft, and they cannot confirm whether a specific car already had its recall repair.
  • Anything outside the United StatesThe data comes from U.S. agencies and applies to products sold in the U.S.
  • A guaranteed matchListings are messy. Results show a confidence level, and you should always confirm the model number against the official notice.

Your data stays yours.

No accounts, no ads, and no tracking. RecallHound receives item names and nothing else. It never sees your email, your bank, or who you are, and it never stores VINs.
